Welcome to France and welcome to Lyon, the capital of the Gauls!

We are very pleased to host the 12th International congress of Plant Pathology (ICPP) in Lyon, France from August 20-25, 2023. This meeting will give the opportunity to meet in person again and share recent advances in plant pathology and plant health research. Like in the past meetings, ICPP2023 will bring together scientists from academic institutions and private industries, representing a broad spectrum of countries, topics, research approaches, crops, agricultural practices and innovative solutions focusing on plant disease management. ICPP2023 is based on invited keynote lectures, more than 50 concurrent sessions, several round-tables and multiple posters viewing sessions. About 20 satellite meetings will complement the ICPP2023 programme. The common goal of the organizing committee is to ensure the best conditions for a rich fruitful exchange of scientific experiences in a very pleasant environment. Lyon is a city of 2000-years of history listed as part of Unesco’s World heritage. The city came top of the category “World’s leading Emerging Tourism destination 2021” at the World travel awards. The wide variety of scientific programming and the cultural wealth of the city of LYON will make this congress… unforgettable.
